another gazebo, the poor trees are drowning |
the sand bags, the water came over that, they had pumps to help too |
not long ago they couldn't see the gazebo roof the water has gone down a bit |
Had a great nights sleep, in bed about 10:30pm and didn't wake up till 7:15, didn't wake up all night long, either one of us!!!!!!!!!!! Went touring around Brandon flood area, devastating. The water has gone down about 20ft but still has a long way to go. Went to an Italian restaurant for supper, had a really good meal. Visited back at Doug and Darlene’s till about 11, then off to bed for an early start tomorrow heading to Seven Persons, (Near Medicine Hat). We had a wonderful time with Doug and Darlene always enjoy our visits with them, just wish it was more often.

Hi Chris and Hank,
Your pictures are all terrific. Naturally I chose this one to leave my comment with. What a great idea this was. I really like the Drumhellar pics and I hope it get there again one day. We just found out that the large white sandbags in your pictures are actually 5 deep where the raod is closed. You wouldn't know that jus by looking at them. The water is lower then your pics show but may go back up to where it was when it crested in early June.
Continue to travel safe and I hope Hank can always find a Timmies when he is freaking out
